The Dance’ is a digital exploration, into abstracting familiar movements; the subject depicted is in the process of a contemporary dance. The fragmented, blurred lines and double exposure techniques; manipulate the subject’s movement into a repetitive and spiritual-like state; which not only creates the idea that the subject is moving within these still images. But it also exposes the viewer to perceptions of unfamiliar situations, thus paving the way to new interpretations of human motion and form.
